Nine West Flax Pump ($79)

This fall, designers are selling shoes made with different textures and patterns.  From lace to sheer, from velvet to calf hair, the options are endless.  But when I think about calf hair or pony hair shoes, I always think about leopard print shoes.  They’re my go-to fall shoe.

If you love leopard pumps, you can’t dream bigger than these Christian Louboutins, but few of us are looking for something that pricey.  Instead, Joan & David leopard pumps and these DvF pumps.  I also like these white leopard J.Crew pumps with a small print.

Caring for pony/calf hair shoes takes some doing, so if you’re not looking to sign on for the maintenance, you can find leopard printed pumps made of other materials.  I found this brown leopard pump from Ann Taylor and this grey, snow leopard pair from Far Fetch.

Do you have any recommendations of leopard print flats? My beloved Steve Maddens from 2 years ago (per your blog’s rec) are dying and I haven’t been able to find a replacement. Thanks!

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
