Deux Lux Bowery Weekender ($99)

How cute this weekender?  I love the textured material and the size is big enough without being too big.  And since some weekenders are absurdly priced, it’s nice to find one that won’t make your wallet weep in pain.

This Sole Society faux-leather duffle has a classic look to it.  But if you prefer nylon for resisting wear and tear, try this Lipault weekend satchel; it’s similar to a Longchamp but with structure.

Prefer a tote to a duffle?  This black Diesel bag looks like it could hold quite a bit and take quite a beating.  This Rag & Bone canvas bag is to.die.for, and the price is pretty good too.  And this Hex laptop bag would make a great carry on.

Prefer a roll-aboard bag for travel?  I have this Samsonite bag and I love it.

  1. I own this bag in black, and have had it now for almost 5 years. I LOVE IT! And it is still holding up. I highly recommend.

2013 Outfit Restyle: Bring the Tweed

The theme of 2013 was more is more. Wearing a bracelet? Wear five. Add a belt. Add a necklace, maybe two . . . make it three. So when I look at outfits from a decade ago, my first instinct is always: do less.
