10th Commandment: July 1

Jul 1, 2013

This will be a short week, so I thought I’d show you some stylish bags at low prices.  Today, structured totes and satchels.

Urban Expressions Penny Lane Tote ($70)

This tote is gorgeous, and it’s vegan friendly.  If the size is a little more than you’re looking for, they also make a Wild Heart Satchel ($70) that is very, very similar.

I still like this Aldo cognac satchel with gold hardware.  The braided details on this Melie Bianco bag are chic.  And this satchel in a soft grey has an elegant vintage feel to it.

In the mood for a tote?  This black bucket tote is perfectly simple. This white tote has some interesting details.  And this cognac bag has a braided handle and perforated leather for added textures.

Want color?  I found this tomato red bag with a bit of gold hardware.  I also like this vibrant orange bag with a very cool shape.  And if blue is your color, this pretty bag has a thin profile and a sleek look.

Hi Belle, love your blog! I bought the Aldo cognac bag after seeing it linked here previously. It was lovely, but oh my word, the smell. I could smell it before I even had it out of the packaging. Ultimately, it went back. I love your handbag suggestions!

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
