Mossimo Women’s Sleeveless Top ($23)

Black and white prints are everywhere this spring/summer, but unlike most trends, this one actually has staying power.  So if you want to spend some money on a black and white top, dress or skirt, know that you’ll be able to work it into your daily outfits for seasons to come.  And if you don’t want to spend a lot of money, this printed, peplum blouse from Target is a great choice.

If you’d like the color combination with a basic shape, this basic silk tank in a black and white graphic print is a great buy at under-$50.  I also think the pattern on this Madewell top is gorgeous.  I also like the print on this wrap top with a short, flutter sleeve.  And if your style is a bit funkier, I like this mix and match dot print in a mostly sheer fabric from Dorothy Perkins.

Not feeling the blouses?  I also love this Theory dress is a bold print and this jersey dress that would be perfect for a dinner out.

Plus size ladies should look at this button up blouse and this ah-may-zing dress in a great black and white print.  Petites may like this inexpensive dress, and I was intrigued by this squiggle printed top.

My god, $140 for a printed Rayon tank top- on sale. Madewell, that’s ridiculous! I’ve seen a nearly identical tank at Forever 21 for literally one tenth the price

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The Mondays: March 18, 2024

This weekend was a tricky one. The warm weather and bright sunshine of last weekend disappeared in a flurry of wet snow trapping our very active 18-month-old in the house with us. Plus, our babysitter cancelled, so neither of us feels ready for the week ahead. But in between making mac-and-cheese and watching Aristocats for […]
