Under the Sea Shell Scarf ($20)

I love this frilly, soft scarf.  It has an interesting texture and a color that pairs well with other neutrals or bolder hues.  The only thing that I don’t like about it is that I now have the music from The Little Mermaid stuck in my head.

If you’re searching for a textured scarf, I found this crinkled scarf that comes in eight fabulous colors for $8 and this one for $10.  I love pom-pom trim on a scarf if it’s tastefully done, and this DvF scarf has fun details and vibrant colors.  (I found this one for less.)

I also found this textured scarf with sequin detail for a hint of shimmer.  And I adore this scarf with a soft tonal stripe; it’s a definite must have.

Also, I couldn’t move on without a plug for my favorite scarf brand: LoveQuotes.  This dark grey is versatile year round, as is this ivory scarf.  But this rich mink color is the next shade I plan to add to my collection.

Sadly, the crinkle scarf is $38 not $8. I would get one in every color at that price! Belle– do you handwash your scarves?

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
