Printed Crossover Maxi Dress ($80)

Every now and again, Gap really surprises me.  This dress is a fun, summery DvF-reminiscent piece that you can wear to a nice dinner, a barbecue or on casual Friday.  I just adore the print.

Looking for something else?  This spaghetti strap dress from Quiksilver is fun, and this ruffle-top halter is boho chic.  But this short sleeve t-shirt dress with graphic stripes is completely adorable.

Petite? I like this dress that mixes stripes and florals.  Plus size? This brightly printed dress is really nice.

Prefer something sans print?  Try this basic t-shirt dress or this pleated skirt dress from Need Supply Co.

This dress is fantastic! I’ve been looking for a good sleeved maxi for summer, and this might just be the one.

  2. Andrea says:

    It also comes in Petite!

  3. Chelsea says:

I have been obsessed with this dress ever since I saw it online yesterday! Thanks for featuring it, I think it would be a great summer piece. Do you know if it is knit or woven?

  4. Andrea says:

By the way, for the Gap dress, you can save 25% by using code GAPSTYLE.

  5. KC says:

I LOVE this, but it seems like something that I would never have the opportunity to wear.

  6. Anna says:

Love the print, hate the maxi. Just a trend I can’t get into.

  7. barchbo says:

Wow! I love this dress! The site has 25% off purchase right now, too!

  8. CSB says:

Does anyone have a clue how this fits? I’m more of an 8 in most pants and skirts, but in Gap, and in more flowy things, I tend to buy a small.

    • Anne says:

I haven’t tried this dress on, but I’ve bought a few things from Gap this season and their dresses run large. I’m a size 12, and I usually fit into a medium, so I think a small would be good for you.

  9. krismae says:

GAPSHOP gets you 30% off this dress today. Can’t wait!

this dress is no longer available 🙁

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
