  1. A nonny moose says:

Finally, a shoe that will be comfortable commuting but still not result in my pant hems dragging on the ground! Thank you Belle!!!!

  2. Liz says:

    April Fools?

  3. Jenn L. says:

Omg, tres chic. Buying thirty pairs. Do you think I could find a coordinating Vera?

  4. Allison says:

    Happy April Fools Belle 🙂

  5. Denise says:

You almost tricked me for a minute and then I remembered… April Fools. Nice one.

  6. Fiedlerin says:

What I REALLY want are UGGS with high heels… is that too much to ask?

  7. Leslie says:

Oh, Belle! You almost had me. I wonder if Uggs makes a version of these lovely shoes 😉

  8. Yellowrose says:

THANK goodness this was a joke 🙂

  9. Xtra-Tall says:

Wow! $640.00 to look like Luke Skywalker. Happy April Fools Day.

  10. Jessica says:

Oh thank God – I forgot about April Fools Day and was wondering if you were high! Very nice Belle…

  11. G says:

I totally was fooled! I was so shocked at this post but once I checked the comments I was relieved….good one!

  12. heather says:

    groan

  13. K says:

    Slow clap. Well played.

  14. heather says:

I know some people who actually consider these “athletic” shoes, including online “fashion” games, etc. Waiting for a rise in broken and sprained ankles in 5.4.3.2……

  15. Meredith says:

Oh my gosh… before I read the other comments I was going to say “I just CANNOT get onboard with this trend” Happy April Fools indeed!

  16. Valerie says:

You know, I’ve seen so many other fashion bloggers wear these that it took me a few minutes to figure you that these aren’t really your style, Belle…!

  17. Valerie says:

*figure out. Although I still can’t figure out why someone would spent $670 on the Isabel Marants rather than get a really classy Choo or Louboutin on sale for that price!

  18. Rory says:

Every few years, people try to make these high heeled sneakers a thing. Why?

  19. Kristiina says:

Thanks god it’s April 1st….would’ve been concerned about you, belle!

  20. Clearly Speaking says:

That Corporette and Boardroom Belles both posted these are must haves makes this joke even sweeter.

@Rory: They miss the Spice Girls?

@Rory: They miss the Spice Girls?

    • Belle says:

I’m kind of torn on them, even though they’re not my style, because I’ve seen a few bloggers really pull off the look. But it’s just not for me, I’d feel silly wearing them.

  22. TechWriter says:

I wish I could have seen my own under-caffeinated expression when I opened CHS this morning. I was 100% puzzled and just wondering if it was an off day. Thanks SO much.

  23. Beth says:

On the one hand, they are ugly. On the other hand, a coworker has a pair that are HOT pink and made by Ash. I hate to admit it but they didn’t look too bad. The ones you posted here, though, are fugly.

  24. Susannah says:

Ha! Happy April Fools Day, Belle. I was getting ready to reply to this post with a solid WTF, when I realized what day it was…

  25. Mallory says:

Oh, Belle! I audibly gasped when I saw this. This made my morning.
