10th Commandment: March 13

Mar 13, 2013

It’s that time of year again.  The save-the-dates are arriving and people are thinking about summer weddings.  Last week, I received an Ask Belle from Sera who is looking for a rehearsal dinner dress for her own wedding.  She’d like a flare skirt and a light lace or chiffon dress.

I also like this strap halter style eyelet dress for $188.

Lace Yoke Textured Dress ($98)

I also found this lovely lace dress and this light ruffle neck dress in plus size.  As for petites, have a look at this pretty cap sleeve dress of this flare skirt cotton dress with a v-neck and fitted waist.

I have double digit weddings this year. The amount of dresses I need for weddings, bridal showers and bachelorette’s is appalling. Would love a post on items I could re-wear or re purpose.

I just bought this dress for my August wedding rehearsal dinner: https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/eliza-j-belted-lace-dress/3434958?origin=category&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=&resultback=0

It is absolutely beautiful in person, and its lace is a similar style to my actual wedding gown. It’s not chiffon, but it does flare a bit. 🙂

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
