10th Commandment: December 28

Dec 28, 2012

I’ve worn my black pencil skirt so frequently over the last month, I’m surprised it hasn’t fused to my skin.  I think it’s time buy a second one.  But I’ve also decided, that after giving my purple pencil skirt to my Mother (I bore easily, if you’re my friend/relative and my size, hand me downs flow like water), I’ll replace that one too.

Elected Official

Kate Spade Tarnish Skirt ($258)

Hill Staffer

Anne Klein Crepe Pencil ($89)

Paid Intern

Apt. 9 Ponte Pencil Skirt ($31)

Need a plus size? The bad news is that I only found one skirt in plus size.  The good news is it’s pretty awesome and $78.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
