J.CREW Cafe Capri ($49)

I knew that I wanted to feature pants for this holiday attire Two Ways, but I wasn’t sure what kind.  Did I want a tasteful tuxedo trouser?  Classic, but not especially festive.  A satin or brocade pant? A bit more gauche than I usually wear.  So I decided on a slim cut ankle pant in holiday red, but if red is too much for you, try green.

Check back at 1:00PM for Two Ways to wear these pants.

What about something with sequins? That's a pretty festive holiday look.

I like Capri pants but I always think of them in the Spring/Summer or if you're going to a hot climate (vacation) during the winter months. Do you think you can wear Capris during the cold winter and still look festive?

    Thanks.

The cafe capris are more like cropped pants than pedal-pushers, so I think the look is OK if they're wool.

JCrew.com just marked these down to $35 today, with an additional 25% off.

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
