Crepe shift dresses are perfect for mornings when you don’t feel your best. They conceal flaws and don’t restrict movement. Add a little tailoring at the waist and bust to give it an even more flattering fit, and you won’t be able to stop wearing it to dinner, drinks and work.

When I was young, my Mother used to bring me along when she would go shopping for fabric. As a result, I spent a lot of time, killing time, flipping through pattern books. So when I spotted this dress, I was instantly transported to the pattern table at a Jo-Ann Fabrics.

Love the tip about a little tailoring to make it even more flattering. I would even suggest just keeping a few good quality, not too wide belts to do the tailoring and leave your dress flexible for more than a few pounds of weight fluctuation.
