Madewell Snowdot Blouse ($99 + 30% off)

This time of year, I’m always on the look out for blouses that can be layered under sweaters and jackets.  If I’m lucky, I find one that can be worn year round, like this blouse from Madewell.  Sheer with a hint of texture, this is a great piece to add to your wardrobe.

If you are looking for something similar, this black blouse is from J.CPenney costs $17.  This blouse from Tinley Road comes in a myriad of colors including a basic ivory.

Have a little money to spend?  The Joie blouse has an amazing tonal stripe.

S: I wear a cami underneath, and if I tuck, I tuck all the way around. Another blogger has gotten too deep in to my head referring the front tuck as the “shame tuck.”

The Find: Shirts That Don’t Gape

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.
