Aubergine Ottoman Dress (Dorothy Perkins, $39)
Every time I post a dress with sleeves, I receive a request to post more dresses with sleeves. For those of you who hate showing off your arms–or who get cold, like me–this dress from the UK retailer Dorothy Perkins might be for you. If you like the style and the textured fabric but not the color, the dress also comes in navy.

Has anyone ever actually ordered from Dorothy Perkins – and can you tell us anything about the quality or sizing? I'm assuming the quality would be what you might imagine for the low price, but any insight anyone has would be great.
For the price, I just ordered it. I hope it fits! I've been wearing a lot of dresses with tights and boots lately, so this will fit right into the mix.
I would also love some info on Dorothy Perkins sizing!
@BBB- I bought stuff from them about a year ago, and think their clothes are a fairly good value. I normally wear XS or Small and size 4, and the small fit me well, although one of the blouses I bought in a size 4 is a little more snug than I would've liked. Quality wise – I've been happy with their tops, sweaters and jewelry, but not the dresses. I bought 2 dresses from them and wasn't very thrilled with the cut or the quality of the fabric.
I actually own this dress and I love it! I've only had it for about a month, but so far the quality seems to be great. I'm normally a size 2 so that's what I ordered and it fits me perfectly…I am fairly small on top though, so if you're more busty I'd consider going up a size.
Angela is spot on, I'm top heavy and got a size up. Was fortunate enough to be in London and swing to a Dorothy Perkins store found this and snatched it up. Just wore it for all engagement photos with a DP scarf. Love. But will also say not for the office if you are a tall gal as its a bit short on my 5'10 frame.
