Factory Printed Pencil Skirt (J.Crew, $75)*

*Because this skirt is J.CREW Factory, it can only be purchased online during the weekend.

The soft brushstroke print on this skirt is fantastic.  It’s a little bold, but I think the bright color palette makes it a fresh choice for summer.  Check back at 1:00PM for Two Ways to wear this skirt.

I just bought this skirt in the Jade print and already love it – adds a little something different to the outfit routine, and isn't so bold if you pair it with a solid top.

  2. Joanne says:

I own this skirt! Cant wait to see how you style it.

  3. e says:

If you go to jcrew.com/factory, you can actually shop from the site at any time. They just pull the link off the main site except for on weekends. A lot of times you'll get regular J. Crew sales applied to factory items as well.

  4. TA says:

They're even offering an extra 30% on this purchase!

EXTRA 30% OFF PRICES IN RED WITH CODE LOVEIT

  5. TA says:

Oops. I spoke too soon–Offer valid at jcrew.com only.

  6. Anna Louisa says:

the 30% off works for J.Crew Factory too! I just got the email 🙂

  7. LS says:

Does JCrew Factory have petite sizes? I did a quick check and didnt' see any…

  8. Oh my gosh, I'm so obsessed with these J. Crew skirts right now (I live in Canada and we just got a store here). I actually just posted about them on my blog on wednesday too (here: https://cupcakesandcoffeebreaks.com/2012/05/looking-out-for-no-2/). I bought a few of them in solids, but this floral skirt is so perfect for summertime. I can't wait to see how you'll style it later!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
