10th Commandment: February 8

Feb 8, 2012

I saw this look on Pinterest, and I like it so much, that I thought that I might try to recreate it.  All I need is a hot pink silk scarf and a black and white printed shirt.

    Love. A great inspiration.

  2. R says:

This reminds me of the Jason Wu for Target shirt I bought on Sunday!

  3. KLo says:

I love this! Any suggestions on how to make it work on the quite busty? I'm picturing (unless someone corrects me) wearing the shirt unbuttoned to mimic a v-neck, with the bow tied at the first button that is buttoned. Would that work?

    Thanks!

  4. Belle says:

Busty? That's a tough one. I'd skip the scarf and try a large statement necklace, in the same color, worn under the collar instead. But button ups and busty ladies are always a difficult combo.

  5. Hae says:

any suggestions on where to get a hot pink scarf? i also love this combo… and was recently rejected by talbots petite in my attempt to buy a pretty awesome (and clearanced out) hot pink pencil skirt. received an email today informing me that they were out of stock when i placed my order!!! brutal disappointment.

I'm loving black and white with hot pink this season. I was just looking at the bottom one earlier this week. Great choices!

I’ve been wearing the same one for years (it’s the best). But they don’t make it anymore. So here are some options for replacement.

The Find: Like a McCall’s Pattern

Before we start today’s reader questions, I wanted to take a moment to talk a bit about mental health. For those who experience mental health challenges — whether occasionally or frequently — talking about our struggles is a double-edged sword.
