Cap Toe Canvas Ballet Flat (Old Navy, $23)

Last year, Kate Spade made a hot pink toe cap flat, and it quickly become the hot item on Pinterest.  So when I saw these neon toe caps from Old Navy, I knew that they would sell out.  I just didn’t think that the yellow shade would sell out in less than 48 hours. Mind blown.

Normally, I would switch items if I saw it was sold out, but I already made the sets.  If you love these shoes, I hope you like the cobalt blue pair or have an Old Navy near your home.

In a similar price range, and similar (but not as cute) look: https://www.zappos.com/annie-cybil-cork-yellow-patent

I called the old navy close to my mom's house in Ohio to see if they had them in stock. Apparently these shoes were an online exclusive. Cue sad trombone.

And now only sizes 6 and 7 are available in the yellow. Super sad trombone.

I was in LOVE with the Kate Spade flats last year but they were out of my price range. This weekend I saw a pair at TJ Maxx that looked just like this except with a neon orange toe. for $20. I am KICKING myself for not buying them.

Laura- those are great… unfortunately the $158 price tag is not so great. Maybe Old Navy will get in new stock.

I'm a little late to the party here, but I just grabbed a pair of these at a brick-and-mortar store (San Francisco on Market and 4th, to be exact). The selection wasn't even picked over! So ON might have decided to start carrying these since some of the previous commenters looked. They are awesome, and very comfortable 🙂

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
