10th Commandment: December 12

Dec 12, 2011

We’ve come to that uncomfortable time of the year when the designers sell summer clothing in the winter for the wealthy who can afford resorts and the retailers the rest of us can afford are getting ready for the holidays.  This means that finding items for 10th Commandment becomes more of a challenge than usual.  So I thought that this week, I would share a few items that I’ve recently purchased and really enjoy.

Eberjay Curly Vines Set (Anthropologie, $58-$38)

This lacy, racerback bra has really been making the rounds on Pinterest.  After I saw it for the 1,000th time, and loved it just as much as the first time I saw it, I decided to buy the set.

It’s not really for every day wear, but it would look great under a white tank and leather jacket. Obviously not for work, but a good look for a night out.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
