“Are you aware that Fran has chosen teal for her bridesmaids?  Teal, the color of Gangrene.  My last bride who chose teal got her marriage annulled in 8 days.” —The Wedding Planner

Every time that someone tells me that teal is big for Fall, I think of this quote.  Regardless, teal is big for fall.

If you’re going to buy something teal for the season, buy something dark teal.  Light teal can look tacky in blended fabrics or too summery even in quality material.  It also pairs better with black, so you can look classically sophisticated in an on trend ensemble.

Has anyone here purchased anything from TopShop? I love their clothes but I really have no idea how they fit…size charts aren't always the most reliable. I find that clothes definitely run smaller at Zara or H&M, so I would assume TopShop would be similar (i.e. my normally size 6 body wears an 8 at those stores instead of a 4 like I do now at Gap, thank you vanity sizing)

Haha! I always think of that quote too!

I haven't bought from the website, but I've bought from Topshop stores when I was overseas. I find that H&M tends to run small, so I have to go up a size, but Topshop has generally been true to size for me.

I bought some pants from Topshop recently in my regular size and they were definitely a bit snug. Topshop seems similar to Zara sizing in my experience.

I find that Topshop runs true to size for the most part. If anything runs big, I would say the trousers do.
