Casual Style: March Madness

Mar 17, 2011

It’s still a bit too chilly outside for shirt sleeves and skirts, but I think an anorak or utility jacket is the perfect solutions.  And should any of you ladies find yourselves dragged to the bar this weekend to watch college basketball (sure, there are a few of you who would go willingly), your sporty jacket and a pair of skinny jeans will be the perfect mix of casual and cool.  Add a silk blouse with a banded collar and a tassel necklace and your all set.

P.S. This orange bag is under $100, so get over to Lori’s Shoes and buy one before they sell out.

That orange bag is a direct rip off of the Mulberry Alexa bag. I know that styles trickle down to lower price points, but they copied the bag right down to the braided handle, and the tabs that hook around the back. Tacky. At least try to put your own spin on it.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
