10th Commandment: October 26

Oct 26, 2010

The process for putting together the morning post is simple: find item that you covet, find two like items in alternative price points, assemble post.  But occasionally, I find an item for which I can locate nothing comparable and I wind up tossing the item to the side.

Not today.

Today, the item in question will not be cast aside due to the failure of American designers to imitate, copy and steal from one another.  Today, I will not cobble together three items that are similar in looks but not in taste.  Today, the item will stand alone and bask in the glory of its singular loveliness because no true diva shares the spotlight.

The design is gorgeous. My heart fluttered, I was about to put it on my Christmas list, but then noticed… faux leather?

  3. Belle says:

I thought about that too, but since real ostrich wallet runs $1,200, I'm willing to overlook it. I can't imagine MJ throws his name on something that isn't quality.

Why don't wallets include places to hold checkbooks anymore…or am I among the last that still occasionally writes checks?

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
