A few months ago, my husband killed two of my plants. I was out of town for several weeks, and while I was away, he apparently forgot that plants need water to live. So when I returned, my snake plant and my Calamondin tree were both dead, while his braided money tree continued to thrive. […]
It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
Bella,
I have been meaning to ask you about Asos. I am studying aboard and they are the only company that does not charge an arm and a leg to ship to Belgium. What do you think for their quality?
Thanks!
I am wondering the same. I haven't ordered from Asos yet. I love that blouse, though!
Asos is basically a department store. Some of the pieces are House brands and some are known brands (Karen Millen, etc.). I've had good luck with the two pieces that I have purchased from there, but you really need to measure yourself to figure out your size cause returns are a hassle.
I am a 2/4 top and a 4/6 bottom, so I order a UK 8 shirt and a UK10 dress. I would rather pay money to alter the 10 if it's too big than order the 8 and feel like I'm wearing a sausage casing.
