A caged sandal is a gorgeous shoe for a night on the town. In Summer, the shoe pairs perfectly with flirty summer dresses. In Fall, you can add a nylon sock or pair it with a denim pencil and blazer.

Love love love the Tracy Reese!
Cute sandals, but recommending socks with sandals?! Belle?!
A- Sheer socks(almost like nylons) in a fun color. Didn’t you see the runway shows or the J.Crew catalog?
No socks with sandals please. Just because they showed it on the runways doesn’t mean it’s a good look.
It’s amazing how reticent to even try something new people are. These are the same arguments people made about ankle boots, black and navy together, white after Labor Day and other trends. I think if you want a little something different, it’s a cute look but I am by no means arguing that it is for everyone.
Socks with sandals is not “something new.” It’s something inexcusable.
I saw a girl on the street the other day pull off the sheer socks with sandals. Maybe not the most seasonally appropriate look.
But, A) She didn’t seem to care
And, B) Looked really awesome.
I have to say I disagree. Sorry Belle! Love your blog!
While I have seen come very cute socks/sandals combinations, I’m not sure I’d like them with the cage sandals pictured here. As much as I hate to admit it, love the Jessica Simpson pair.
