10th Commandment: January 21

Hey Belle-

Help, I just started a new job and they gave me a laptop. They gave me a boring basic black laptop bag which just screams, “I’m a consultant!”

Can you provide some fashionable and functional choices for laptop bags?

Thanks! Anika

Strangely enough, I too am in search of a laptop bag.  Let’s take a look around the Interwebs, shall we?

I cannot believe that the white bag is from Best Buy! Wow. Super cute…right now though I’d go for the Acme bag for it’s winter-y look. I’m also looking for one for my HP mini. It’s cute…and red! So it needs a super cute standout case, so that when I pull it out in the coffee shop heads turn. I know Vanity is considered one of the ‘Big 7’ but sometimes I can’t help it;)

I have bought several laptop bags as graduation gifts and the like here. Yes, they look a bit more "laptop bag" than the ones Belle shows above but they do come in many colors, which is nice, and the shoulder-strap option is especially lovely. ALSO! They have ridic sales all the time.

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
