Are you suggesting that a tailored denim skirt is okay for work attire in DC? I follow the standard rule of thumb to avoid denim, yet the pictures of the skirts you posted are quite stylish as well as conservative enough for work. What is your take on denim in the workplace?
I think a denim pencil skirt is great for casual Friday. Pair it with navy tights and a flat tall boot, and it looks really stylish.
