The Find: The Color

Two years ago, I bought an olive/chartreuse colored sweater. I wore it to death. Thank goodness it was Aligne, or it would have worn out. The next year, I decided to go brighter and bought sweater in a similar hue. I wear one or both of these sweaters every week in the fall/winter because the color always feels fresh.

If you haven’t jumped onto this find yet, here’s a sweater to get you started.

Lands’ End makes really great sweaters. Not too thin, but sleek enough to be layered. They also come in an incredible number of colors and a wide size range (petite, tall, plus, etc.). This bright green crewneck is no exception. I’m going to post a three ways to wear this later tonight. (My energy is finally returning post hormone crash, but I haven’t finished this one yet.)

Prefer a wider ribbing at the hem and collar? This Antonio Melani sweater has a similar color with wider edges. Prefer a different neckline? Universal Standard has a polo sweater in a similar hue, Old Navy has a cardigan, and Next has a scarf neck sweater.

Want my Varley sweater? This one is great, machine washable and very wearable in a hue that looks like a martini olive.
