Tuesday Outfit: Chic, Camel and Red All Over

Sep 1, 2026

Today, let’s dive into fall with a bold color combination — camel and red. It may feel intimidating, but it’s incredibly easy to wear. It’s a power move.

Pants. The fiery red pants are balanced by the all-neutral top layer, but they need to be the right red. Nearly any shade of red will do. You can also choose a cardinal red or a deep maroon (or, if you’re feeling girly, a magenta). But for me, this Veronica Beard pant, which is more of a vermillion, is the one. The hints of orange play well with the camel and tan hues.

Plus-size or Petite? Talbot’s has you covered. Business casual office? Try these red jeans from Kut from the Kloth.

Sweater and Shirt. The polo sweater peeking out over the corners of the blazer is a preppy-chic look that feels at home in many offices. I chose a short sleeve polo to eliminate some of the bulk. This one from Me + Em comes in a wool cashmere blend and has a modern, shrunken fit. In the lighter oatmeal color, Abercrombie has a more affordable option. If you want a darker, camel brown, try Quince.

The inspo photo layered under a white tank. You can keep it, or you can skip it. If you keep it, choose a smooth fabric and boatneck style.

Blazer. A great camel blazer is a fantastic fall option for a professional or casual office. I like a single breasted option for longevity (double breasted jackets are nice, but they dip in and out of trend). J.Crew has an incredible option. MM LaFleur also has a one-button option that is cut beautifully.

Shoes and Accessories. I added a bit of leopard because it goes with everything, but you could also choose a simple boot. Or if you prefer flats, maybe a leopard sneaker. Anything in the brown family will do, from tan to espresso. So match yours to your belt if you choose a brown shade. For this look, I went with the inspo photo and selected this simple suede belt from B-Low.

For the jewelry, I like these simple lab grown studs from Quince. For something more affordable, try these nap earrings from Miru. On the wrist, I added this double stack — a simple watch from March Hare and a chunky bracelet from Jenny Bird. Every piece is beautiful and makes a subtle statement.

Add blue light glasses if, like me, your eyes need a bit of a break after hours of computer use. With glasses, I keep the eye makeup simple — a great mascara and a bit of eyebrow filler.
