The Find: A Pretty Dress of Summer

I do a lot of window shopping for this blog.  And one of the things that I am always on the lookout for is what I like to call the “throw on” dress — a dress you can put on with no effort and look stunning in.  This is one of those dresses.

I adore the floral print on this Velvet Heart dress.  It has a cute puff sleeve that isn’t so voluminous it will overwhelm your frame.  And the flouncy skirt is a fun look for summer.

I would wear this dress to brunch, on a relaxed date (with flat sandals), or to a lunch with friends.  It’s the kind of dress that I would put on when I was running late to look like I had all the time in the world to get ready.

The Velvet Heart brand also makes this print in a drop waist dress.  And this chambray utility dress would be a great dress for casual Friday or a fun trip (wear it with cute sneakers).
