The Brand: Linea Paolo

Jan 18, 2022

In 2002, I bought a pair of brown heels from one of Nordstrom’s in-house brands, Linea Paolo.  They were so comfortable.  When I lost them to a cobblestone sidewalk on D Street, I was devastated.  So when Nordstrom revived the brand last year, I was ecstatic.  Their current line is not to be missed.

I adore the chunky chain detail on the front of these Nora flats.  They’re a great basic with a little something extra.  Also in a pale taupe color.

I’m always on the lookout for a great leopard print.  This Payton pump has a great neutral feel.  It’s more subtle than most animal prints.  And if you prefer flats, it comes in a loafer style.

These vented pointed Delphi flats are a great option for casual or dressy wear.  They come in four colors including a cool metallic snakeskin print.

Came to say I loved the Linea Paolo line and had a great pair of black heels back in the day – they too died from the cobblestone streets. Will be taking a look.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
