1) Eleven resources to help you write your resume. (BossedUp)

2) This may be the perfect holiday sweater–feminine, chic, subtly festive.

3) Six women discuss debt and how they’re digging out from under they owe. (Elle)

4) Boden’s cashmere sweater with contrast cuffs is so cool.  I also love this simple knitted v-neck dress.

5) “Everything had sexual connotations.” The story of a young, female reporter in 1960s D.C.. (WaPost)

6) I am obsessed with this simple blouse from Rebecca Taylor.  I also love this sale-priced embroidered silk top.

7) He put a ring on it, and now your wedding is all anyone cares about. (Elle)

8) Need shelves? Target’s Windham bookcase comes a wide array of colors, and the cube bookcase is perfect for shoes.

The Elle article about people asking wedding planning is spot on. I’m currently expecting and I feel the same way. It’s like I’ve become only an incubator, devoid of any thoughts/opinions outside of baby growing. I know people mean well when they ask how I’m feeling but when I say I’m great, let it go. I’m not going to commiserate with you every. single. time. we talk about what’s going on with my body.

    Ugh. Rant over.

The Target Windham bookcases are surprisingly solid for the price point. I bought one several years ago to fill a space and it has lasted through two moves. If you do in-store pickup, consider enlisting the help of a friend. The tall bookcases are a bit heavy!

As always, love the blog Belle!

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
