1) Six reasons to set New Year’s goals in September.

2) This top handle satchel is lipstick red with multiple compartments and a good size for work.  Plus, it’s under-$50.  What more could you want?

3) Deadspin has some very helpful tips on how to write a note for any occasion.

4) Need work dresses? The Tahari Avant sheath and Contrast Sleeve dress are perfect for early fall.  And this Nicole Miller dress is a winter time staple.

5) Gizmodo discusses the rise of “fake holidays” like National Tequila Day.

6) Belif is my new-favorite skincare line.  Their soothing mask is incredible for tired skin.  I’m also loving their mild facial scrub.

8) Hello, perfect v-neck sweater.  Casual enough for day, dressy enough for the office.

10) If you’re into little rings, this black enamel accented Kendra Phillip Rosie Ring is to die for.  I also love these perfectly pretty stack rings in rose, yellow, and white metal.

11) The economics of pop music, and why Spotify is a bad deal for young artists.

Thank you for all the work you do to collect these links! May I make a request? (Sorry if you’ve addressed it in the past, and I’ve missed it.) When linking to other sites, including links to clothing/shoes/accessories in your daily posts, could you possibly code the links to open in a new window please? I follow about 100 blogs on a daily basis, and forget which ones have links that open in a new window (without overwriting the blog post) versus which ones need right clicks on the browser. It’s so very helpful to be able to stay on your main post and click through all the links in one fell swoop, instead of clicking the back button after reading every link. Thank you again! ❤

WE have a new design coming (I feel like I’ve been saying it forever, but paying for it, and coordinating it has taken more time than I thought.). The links in the new site will open in a new tab.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
