1. Gap Chambray Boyfriend Shirt ($50) // 2. White Quilted Midi Skirt ($35) // 3. Sole Society Ceci Sandal ($60) //4. BCBG Moto Clutch ($63) // 5. Fossil Chronograph Watch ($125), Tommy Hilfiger Chain Bracelet ($75) and Michael Kors Open Cuff ($125) // 6. Prism Cream Tortoise Sunglasses ($405)
Today’s outfit features fashion “It Girl” Olivia Palermo. Found on Le Catch, this outfit is the perfect mix of flirty and crisp. It’s a great choice for an end of summer dinner date or al fresco cocktail hour.
One. This Gap boyfriend shirt is softer than your average chambray. It also comes in tall and petite sizes. If you prefer a brighter blue, try J.Crew’s chambray shirt. Plus-size? Land’s End has you covered.
Two. This white midi-skirt has a heavier fabric than the one in the photo so that you can wear it in more than one season. This Asos skirt is also an awesome choice. Want the breezy cotton look? Madewell has a skirt that fits the bill.
Three. I adore these Sole Society sandals. The mix of snakeskin and pale tan is a dream. I also love these Loeffler Randall sandals with a gold accent, and these under-$50 Nine West sandals.
Four. This blush clutch has a cool, geometric look to it. If you’d like something with a bit more coral in the color, try this Matt + Nat clutch. Prefer a darker hue? Lulu’s has a fuchsia clutch for under-$40 that has an interesting look to it.
Five. Rose gold is my current obsession. This watch from Fossil is more affordable than your average time piece, but it has a great look to it. Add a few bangles to it and you have a chic, layered look. Need some cheaper bracelets? This infinity bracelet from Tahari is adorable, and this flexible, thin Fossil bangle is so classic.
Six. The lighter tortoise look of these sunglasses is fantastic. It’s modern and light. Kate Spade has a similar pair for under-$150 that have a wire-rim bottom.
Love that those Sole Society are pretty on trend with the ankle strap, but not on trendy (like Olivia’s) that they’ll look dated soon.
Sole Society *sandals* is what I meant to type.
Jcrew Factory also has a Chambray shirt (and a 50% discount today for $34.50).

Good buy, great price!
Darn! And not *so* trendy….rough morning.
Argh, Olivia Palermo. I want to hate her, but the truth is I love everything she wears.
Love the full midi skirt styled casually with the chambray top. brillant
Ann Taylor has a similar sandal on sale at 60% off. It’s called the Harper Peeptoe Heel. That might also work for this look.
I have those sole society sandals in the platinum color- they were great for a summer wedding. Several straps around the ankle make them feel secure and they’re high- about 3.65 inches, but not SO high. LOVE them, cant recommend them enough.
I really like rose gold, but I bought a ring from gorjana and within 10 wears the rose has rubbed away. Do you think that’s from the tropical humidity where I’m living (much more than DC) or the quality of the ring itself? I remember reading that rose gold (or white gold?) needed to be taken to a jeweler 1x year to be dipped in a solution that brings the rose back, but 10 wears seems crazy.
This is been happening to all my Gorjana rings. I’m actually saving up to take my favorite ones and have similar-looking ones made in real gold. I think it’s the quality of the gilding wearing off.
