A Capitol Hill Style Session with M.M. LaFleur

When I discovered M.M. LaFleur several months ago, it was a revelation.  The brand’s designer worked for Zac Posen, Jason Wu and Theory, so she is a master at creating simple silhouettes that flatter your figure and project professionalism.  The items are machine washable, so there’s no reason to spend your hard-earned money on dry cleaning.  And the price point, while aspirational, is by no means outrageous, especially for the quality.

On Saturday, March 29th, M.M. LaFleur and I are hosting an event to make over your resume and your wardrobe.  M.M LaFleur is bringing dresses, sweaters, belts and scarves for a trunk show at the St. Regis Hotel.  I’m bringing a few girlfriends to help me look over your resumes and make suggestions for those looking to spruce up their resumes or seeking advice on how to tailor it toward a particular field.

I’m really excited to pair with this wonderful brand and to meet those of you who come to see the event.  Please RSVP to RSVP@MMLaFleur.com and specify that you would like to attend the Capitol Hill Style Session.  Hope to see you there!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
