The Best of Piperlime’s End of Season Sale

Jul 16, 2013

July and August are tough months for fashion bloggers.  Retailers are preparing to sell sweaters and parkas, while shoppers sweat it out in the blistering heat.  But this can be a great time for shoppers looking to score great deals on warm weather fashions.

Piperlime is having an epic sale right now offering an additional 25% off sale items.  Sale ends at midnight tonight, code SUMMER.  Here are a few of my favorite items.

Under-$50.  This Hive & Honey bow-halter maxi is a great lounge dress and comes in lots of fun colors and prints.  This poppy red tweed blazer from Pim + Larkin would look lovely in any season.  And I like this Tinley Road vegan-leather inset minidress for going out on the town.

Work Dresses.  I adore this Alice peplum dress with black piping.  The white Calvin Klein dress that I’ve been lusting after is also on sale.  Prefer color?  I like this coral Sanctuary dress and this hydrangea-blue short sleeve dress.

Shoes. If you are still looking for summer shoes, there are nearly 2,400 pair in this sale.  In limited quantities, of course, but there are still gems to be found.  These low wedges from Me Too come in tan and black and I’ve been told they’re super-comfortable.  These suede t-straps from Jessica Simpson are to die for and available in most sizes.   I love the soft grey.  And lastly, if you need sandals to roam the pool deck, try these DV flip-flops for $25 + 25% off.

If you’re looking to finish out your summer wardrobe or grab a few pieces for next year, hit up the Piperlime sale.  Smart sale shopping is a savvy way to keep your closet stylishly stocked.  (Yay, alliteration!)

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
