Do you ladies watch The Good Wife on CBS? I do. And frankly, I find the show’s secondary characters and bit players far more interesting than the main character. But I digress, the head of the law firm where most of the story takes place is Diane Lockhart, played by Christine Baranski, and this woman’s wardrobe is to.die.for.
Her costumes have me craving simple crewnecks and dresses in basic silhouettes. Sadly, the dresses on the show are usually Dior or Ralph Lauren Black Label. But hopefully, if I keep searching, I’ll find some pieces in my price range like this Tippi sweater from J.Crew, which comes in an array of gorgeous colors and is bound to become a wardrobe staple.
This is also the perfect winter to spring transition piece since you can layer it for colder weather and wear it solo when things warm up. Trust me, this sweater will see more wear than you can imagine once March rolls around.
I think this color pairs so well with other colors like turquoise, navy, red, and orange. I had a cardigan in the same bold violet and I literally wore it out. Great piece!

I love her wardrobe too! It makes me feel better that you do as well. I was starting to wonder if I was getting old lusting after a wardrobe on a character almost twice my age!
I bought this sweater in cobalt, navy, and plum – it seriously is the best sweater I've ever owned. So versatile and cute!

This sweater is perfection. I own it in dark grape, graphite, and a dark green (not sure of official J.Crew color). I will probably also buy it in navy because I love it that much.
Sarah-The costume designer gave an interview and discussed the brands that Baranski wears. It was all Dior, Ralph Lauren Black Label, Rachel Roy and a few others.
I can't decide if I want her wardrobe or Kalinda's. I've got visions of badass motorcycle jackets… I work in a nonprofit so I can pull it off more than in politics.
