The Original from Harry’s Bar, Paris

1 1/2 oz. cognac
3/4 oz. Cointreau
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass with a sugared rim.
Garnish with an orange peel.
