Have you ever just forgotten about a brand? Like had a brand completely fade from your memory, only to reappear and make you wonder how you ever forgot? For me, that’s LK Bennett.
The brand, favored by the erstwhile Kate Middleton, was everywhere (virtually inescapable) in the late 2000s, early 2010s. And then, it just seemed to fade away. Recently, however, ads for their end of season sale have been falling into my social feeds with a vengeance, so I decided to take a look. Here is the suit that caught my eye.
With a slight peplum on the jacket, the double slit on the skirt and the sleek tailoring, this skirt and blazer pack a lot of punch for under-$350. No, it’s not a steal, but it is a great suiting option for work. The suit also comes in black, but is not discounted in that colorway.
This afternoon, we’ll talk about how to style a white or ivory suit for fall and winter, since it sucks having a suit that’s color confines it to the summer.
Interested in shopping the LK sale? In the under-$100 range, I found this bright square neck top, this super cool belt, and this tie neck shell.
All dresses ar listed for under-$325. I especially liked this white broderie dress and this green dotted dress. For under-$200, I loved this v-neck work dress.
This is a higher-priced sale, but these pieces will last for years. I just had an LK dress from 2010 re-hemmed to wear this fall. So you can definitely make the pieces last.
