Forget mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything except what you are going to do right now, and do it. Today is your lucky day. // Will Durant

My absolute favorite podcast of all-time, Killed, is back with a second season. It’s like the gift I didn’t know I needed.
From the Russian oligarch who tried to bury a small town paper to the powerful doctor who was performing surgery high on meth, these are the news stories that were too hot to print retold by the reporters who wrote them. The episodes are all interesting and different.
This podcast was my baby-bottle-washing sanity check right after Sloane was born. Don’t miss it.

I’m a cool summer and it’s been so helpful to know that!! Many years ago I thought I needed to buy ALL the colors to have a well-rounded wardrobe. Then it was all blue and black. And now I know that grays are my neutral and cornflower blue (which I love!) is a super color on me. It made it easy to edit my wardrobe (see ya, red) and to focus when I shop. I’m not like a crazy die hard and I’ve kept clothes I love that aren’t my color but it does help simplify!
I couldn’t agree more! I used Created Colorful, which was super easy and affordable. Now I get a regular email with clothes in my colors!
That article on ambition is wonderful! “Investing in friendships, investing in community, investing in the role you have right now because it’s meaningful work—that is ambition.”
I love love love this post. So much inspiration and food for thought. Thank you!
