One Interesting Read. For the past four years, my husband and I have been remodeling our midcentury home.  During that time, I’ve dispatched Kyle to deal with the cabinet people and the electrician because every time I spoke, they ignored me.  It’s why I don’t have outlets in my island and why the outlets in the bathrooms are in weird spots. After all, what does this woman know?  She’s just the wife (who writes half the checks, but I digress).  So this article from Family Handyman on dealing with contractors who only want to speak to the male partner hit close to home.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
