Problems are not the problem; coping is the problem. // Virginia Satir

+ The truth about the afternoon energy crash.

+ I bought these super cute Amazon flats. Will report back.

+ When your friend has a newborn.

+ Wear a “real bra” to the wedding with this pink or this lace dress.

+ What to do when an employee says they’re burned out.

+ Friday Outfit. A cool shirtdress + an ankle strap sandal + a chic tote.

+ A few easy recipes worth memorizing. My go-to is this fried rice with peanuts.

+  Athleta offers a pre-loved section for second hand shoppers.

+ On learning how to say no.

+ I adore this teal plus-size dress, and this orange one is fun too.

+ This Tory Burch carabiner necklace is perfection.

+ The end of the “free returns” era has come for shoppers.

+ This Anne Klein dress suit in pink and cobalt Tahari suit bring color to work.

+ ‘I finally got my IVF baby. What right do I have to be depressed?’

+ This printed blouse would be amazing under a suit.

An Interesting Bit of History. The Titanic of the Pacific.

Rothy’s is having a 25% off Friends and Family Event.  Their best sellers are on discount, which includes the Point Flats.  I wear the s**t out of mine. 3/5 days that’s what is on my feet.  The Desert Cat and Ecru are my favorite color ways.  Both have lasted more than two years.

I used the sale as an excuse to buy my husband a pair of orange driving loafers.  He owned a leather pair years ago and wore them to death.  So these will be a big hit.

Did Rothy’s change the heel height/shape? My older “point” pairs fit perfectly, but my latest pair destroys the back of my ankle. 🙁

I absolutely LOVE my Rothy’s lace up sneakers if anyone needs comfortable standing sneakers. I’ve worn a pair into the ground and had to get a 2nd recently after standing for hours and hours at concerts and traveling everywhere with them. I need the round toe flats because the pointed toe aggravates a bone in my foot (although they are much cuter).

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
