Saturday Half-Circle Skimmers ($90)

After last week, I was going to take a break from shoes.  Then, I spotted these skimmers and went week in the knees.

Kate Spade Saturday is a relatively new retail venture that combines the playful aesthetic of Kate Spade with younger, more modern shapes.  These gorgeous flats come in this pretty magenta, a bold orange, a subtle taupe and basic black.  I also love the mix of leather and suede.

I’m also loving these Nine West Razzie skimmers with their scalloped vamp.  If you’d like a color, Target has a few great options like these emerald-green flats from Merona and these blush flats from Mossimo.  Steve Madden has an ankle strap flat that comes in several colors.  And if it’s suede you’re after, J.Crew has the CeCe flat in some wonderful fall shades.

Colored flats are a great addition to your wardrobe.  They pump up basic pieces and brighten your wardrobe and your day.  If you don’t have a pair, I suggest you pick one up in your favorite color.
