The Sienna Shirt (Club Monaco, $129)

 Recently, a number of designers have embraced these boxy, 60s-inspired, mod shirts.  So I went looking for a boxy blouse with a modern feel and came across this structural top from Club Monaco, which also comes in navy.

(I also spotted this Peter Som and this cropped Chloe top during an Internet shopping session.  And do.not.miss this ridiculously good shirt and top combo from Vika Gazinskaya.  Who is my new favorite because the fashion is phenom and the name’s fun to say.)

Looking for something similar in a cheaper price point?  Loft and Ann Taylor have a lot of choices.  I found this boatneck blouse (also comes petites) and this cotton top, which are very close matches.  I also love this structured crepe blouse in coral and green.  Also this boxy-fitting striped tee is a good option for those seeking a casual look.
