Cafe Capri (J.Crew, $70-$90)

I don’t feature pants much on this blog.  Probably because I almost never wear them.  Skirts are so much more flexible for those of us who yo-yo through a ten pound range.

Anyway, I like these pants even though I am usually opposed to capris in any form.  I went to the store to try these on last weekend.  I found they were a bit too short for me.  (I think cropped pants should skim the top of my ankle bone exposing zero calf.) So I ordered the talls and plan to have them tailored.

Since D.C. is basically the official spokecity for J.Crew, I thought I would feature these.  After all, some of you probably have a pair at home.  Check back at 1:00PM for Two Ways to wear these trousers.

How tall are you Belle? The R length hits me nicely at the ankle and I am 5'8″. I would like a slim full length pant though. I wonder if the talls would fit the bill or just look strange.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
