Samsonite Spinner Carry On (Macys, $160)
A suitcase? You know what that means? It’s time for a packing list for warm weather work travel. So check back later today for the packing list and several outfits that are perfect for work travel.
Also, I own this suitcase and it has been to hell and back through four years of personal and work travel and it’s held up surprisingly well. It’s also the perfect size because it holds a lot, but not too much. So you can be prepared for almost anything without looking like a high-maintanence woman who needs a suitcase that she could row to China in.

I love my suitcase with spinners – so convenient! If anyone is looking for a slightly less pricey option, try Marshall's, Ross, TJ Maxx, etc. They usually have name brand luggage for a steal.

I have a very similar suitcase in burgundy. It's been through everything with me and I love having a non-black one! It makes it so much easier finding your bag in a sea of black that is the baggage claim.

I have this and absolutely LOVE it!! I don't know how I ever traveled without it. The small laptop spinner case is actually roomy enough on the inside for a week's worth of clothes, AND it will fit under your (coach) seat on most airlines.

Belle, how do you feel about today's Supreme Court ruling about individual healthcare mandate? I am shocked and worried about how this healthcare mandate will affect our future.

That's weird – we had one of those and the wheels stopped working pretty much immediately. I like eBags Mother Lode mini. The wheels are great and it's roomy but small enough for an overhead compartment.

Margaret: I appreciate your question, but this is a policy free zone.

I have an ugly-as-sin, upholstery-like, paisley Liz Clairborne suitcase. It's held up pretty well so far, it's easy to spot on the baggage carousel when I do check it, and I know no one would ever steal luggage this ugly.
Seriously, y'all. Ugly luggage is the way of the future.
