The Beauty Edit

My philosophy on makeup and skincare is simple, save where you can, splurge where you need to.  Just because a product is pricey doesn’t mean it works.  But if it’s a product you swear by and can’t live without, it’s worth every penny.  Here are the products that fill my makeup bag and medicine cabinet.

  • Sonya Dakar

    Flash Facial

Amazing. In 60-seconds remove dead, rough skin to prep your skin for makeup. It exfoliates and brightens in less than a minute.

  • Not Your Mother's

    Thermal Spray

Use a lot of heat on your hair? Ends looking fried? Keep them smooth and undamaged with this heat protectant spray.

  • Conair

    Jumbo Rollers

Want to try hot rollers? I’ve been using this set since I was 17.  They give great body and big, glamorous waves.

  • Marc Jacobs

    Velvet Noir Volume

Thicken and volumize your lashes with this amazing mascara. Super dark, no nonsense lashes with no smudges.

    Night Is Young

This Aphorism serum brightens, heals, and reduces fine lines. This oil is a skincare savior.

    Color Chameleon Pencil

This eye pencil can be used as a liner or a shadow.  Wonderful, rich pigments that make your eye color pop and last all day.

    Supershine Creme

Get that super model shine with this glossing creme. Your hair will be impossibly shiny.

  • Beachwaver

    Auto-Curling Iron

Can’t master the perfect curl or wave? This iron spins with the push of a button to help you get the wave your looking for.

This dryer is so amazing that I travel with it. Quick, light, with all the settings. The best dryer I’ve ever used, no question.

The perfect matte nude-pink lipstick.  Looks great on almost everyone and doesn’t dry out your lips.

  • Urban Decay

    Eye Primer

Hold all your shadows in place (no matter how sweaty your lids) with this amazing eye primer. It’s the only thing I trust for outdoor weddings.

    AHA Whitehead Power Liquid

Without question the most effective product I’ve ever used for the treatment of cystic acne.

  • Bliss

    Fabulous Foaming Face Wash

One of the best face washes on the market. The chamomile helps soothe and rebalance skin.
