This week has been crazy. As the pandemic is ending, working is ramping up. We’re back to the office. We’re back to court. Clients want to meet. And I am realizing how unprepared my summer work wardrobe is, and I can’t be the only one.
Some of you likely remember the days when I responded to reader questions weekly. Last year, I basically abandoned this practice because the spam coming into the Capitol Hill Style inbox is virtually unconquerable. 500-700 messages a day was just too much to sort through. But recently, I downloaded a new plug-in that is keeping it manageable. So let’s answer some reader questions this week.

It’s almost April 1st, and spring is here. I’m back in the office a few months. Many of my friends are headed back in June or September. And it keeps this blog in a bit of a weird holding pattern.
It’s been a while since I’ve tackled reader e-mails here on Capitol Hill Style. In the frenetic mess that has been the pandemic, something had to fall off of my radar, and it was this. But over the last week, I’ve had a fresh crop of them, so I thought I would answer a few.
