I’m in London for a few days.  As soon as this jet lag wears off, I’ll be out exploring.  Check out my Instagram to follow along.

12) Remember those Burberry rain boots I lusted after? I bought them ‘just to see’ (so dangerous), and they’re everything I dreamed they could be.

What I Watched. Two great fashion documentaries: First Monday in May (video, about the Met Ball) and Suited (about an NYC tailor who makes suits for trans men and women, very powerful).

What I Wore On The Plane to London.  This tie-sleeve sweatshirt, a long white tee, and Zella’s Power Live In Leggings.

What I’m Baking. Salted Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookies.

What I’m Looking Forward To. I’ve wanted to see the Egypt exhibits at The British Museum since I was five.  Also, I’m hoping these Bao Buns will be life changing.

The Egypt rooms at the British museum are INCREDIBLE! I was able to go there on a high school trip and had to be dragged out of the museum at closing. I want desperately to go back and to visit Egypt someday!
Also- I’m aware of the controversies surrounding many of the holdings of the British museum. Much of the near East is on my travel bucket list, but until I’m able to visit those places in person, I’m grateful to have been able to see so many important parts of history in one place.

    • Anna says:

Seriously. I went to Greece after going to the British Museum, and I was just like, “Meh, this looked cooler in London.”

  2. Shaney B Evans says:

Belle, the tie-sleeve sweatshirt link is for the travel pouches (which are great, by the way!). Thank you! I continue to look forward to your posts every day!

  3. Bristow1941 says:

Make sure to make a reservation for the Bao London Fitzrovia location – we went about 10 days ago and the wait at an off-time at the original location was 20 people long and expected to take 2 hours.

  4. e says:

OMG that YAS dress is sold out but it is BEAUTIFUL!

  5. SH says:

The tie sleeve sweatshirt link goes to the Amazon pouches. So curious about the tie sleeve sweatshirt.

  6. Mary says:

Tie sleeve sweatshirt- -link shows packing pouches instead.

  7. Anna says:

The sweatshirt link goes to the travel pouches 🙁

  8. a says:

While you are at the British Museum, make sure to check out the Sutton Hoo exhibit. It’s an incredibly well preserved viking ship found in a small coastal village in England in the 1930s.
