Question! Am I right in believing that ankle-strap flats make my legs look stubby? (I’m 5’3″) Another question! Any suggestions for how a petite person can pull off the look? Does length of skirt matter?
I’m 5’1″ and solve this problem by either choosing ankle-strap shoes that are closer to flesh tones or pairing the shoes with mini skirts and shorts that show a lot of leg.
Red flats look good with black pants/skirts, navy pants/skirts or grey pants/skirts. You can also wear them with a navy stripe dress for casual attire. I like to wear mine with neutral pieces for extra pop.

I really want this trend to go away. The shoes are so cute but they’re really unflattering with my muscular calves.

Any advice on how to style these shoes? They are super cute but I can’t envision them with a complete outfit.
