Printed Party Dress (Zara, $159)
I love a good outdoor party. Dancing on the patio. Sipping cocktails under the stars. This frock would be perfect for an airy evening of outdoor dining and dancing.
And what cocktail would I serve at this lovely garden party…

4 ounces Prosecco
Sparkling water
2 ounces Aperol
Orange
Lemon
1 green olive
Fill a glass with ice, slowly pour the Prosecco, a splash of sparkling water, and then the Aperol. It’s important that you follow that order lest the Aperol sink to the bottom without mixing. Garnish with a slice of orange, a twist of lemon and an olive on a skewer.

After living in Italy, this drink is my staple. If you're brave and like bitter, replace Aperol with Campari )but be ready for the higher alcohol content and less added sugar). Love it!

If you don't have Aperol, you can use Campari too as a bitter. But it makes a stronger drink so keep track of yourself!
